Does MailerLite integrate with Teachable?
Not directly. When checked on 3 October 2026, MailerLite's integration directory had no Teachable entry, although it does list MemberVault and describes itself as covering more than 130 apps. The practical route is a connector that listens for Teachable events and writes to MailerLite.
Zapier lists both apps and shows the events available on each side, which is enough to plan the connection before you pay for anything.

| Teachable trigger | Useful MailerLite action | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| New User | Create or Update Subscriber | Add everyone who creates a school account to a general group. |
| New Enrollment | Add Subscriber to a Group | Put students in a group named for the course so a course sequence can start. |
| New Sale | Add Subscriber to a Group | Separate paying customers from free enrollments. |
| Course Completed | Add Subscriber to a Group | Start a follow-up or next-course sequence. |
| New Unenrollment, Subscription Cancelled, Transaction Refunded | Remove Subscriber From a Group | Stop course emails for people who left. |
| Student Unsubscribes From Marketing Emails | Unsubscribe Subscriber | Carry the opt-out across so it is respected in both places. |
The last row is the one most often missed. If a student opts out inside Teachable and that never reaches MailerLite, they keep receiving campaigns.
Connect the two in five steps
- In MailerLite, create one group per course and any custom fields you want filled.
- In the connector, pick the Teachable trigger and limit it to one course where the trigger allows it.
- Add Create or Update Subscriber with the student's email and name.
- Add the group action for that course.
- Enroll a test student with your own address and confirm the group membership.
Then build the course emails as a MailerLite automation that starts when a subscriber joins the group. That keeps the email logic in one place and the connector simple.
Check consent before you email students
Buying or enrolling in a course is not the same as agreeing to marketing email. Teachable separates marketing consent, which is why it has its own unsubscribe and resubscribe triggers. Decide which emails are part of delivering the course and which are promotion, and only add people to promotional groups when Teachable shows they opted in.
Alternatives if you do not want a connector
A periodic export of students from Teachable and a manual import into MailerLite works for a small school and costs nothing extra, at the price of a delay. If you have not chosen a course platform yet, MemberVault connects to MailerLite directly with an API key. For the general approach to connector workflows, read MailerLite and Zapier.
